It really pisses me off when people comment about how singing "America The Beautiful" in a different language is 'unamerican' Really?! Seriously people! We're a country of different cultures, faiths/beliefs/religions, experiences, and YES LANGUAGES! I myself am Bi-lingual(I speak 2 languages) and I'm not ashamed of that. I am Irish, Scottish, German, English and Native American in my family history(Hm, notice how there's no "American" in my family history?). I am proud of my diversity and it pisses me off that people are told to be ashamed of speaking their home language, being told to "Speak English". That's like if you moved to another country and were talking to a friend in YOUR native tongue, someone else from that country telling you to speak THEIR language. Show some respect. The Coca-Cola commercial brought tears to my eyes and made me very proud to be an American. I am not ashamed of my culture, of my faith, or my language. America is a melting pot. We always have been, we always will be. The only "Natives" to America are the Native Americans. So if anything we should be speaking/learning THEIR language. WE brought over "ENGLISH" from guess where....ENGLAND(oh no! We brought a language over from another country!)! Seeing people post of how they're offended at Coca-Cola because they were brave enough/patriotic enough to show the country's diversity makes me offended and pissed off. We're a country of many people. The mixture of cultures makes up America. There is no identical American. There never will be.
God Is Good
It's been some time since I've been active on Deviantart, and that's mostly because of the journey that God's been taking me through in my personal life. A few years ago, I let go of a toxic friendship and since then I have begun to grow ever stronger in my walk with God. I started Bible College 4 years ago and walked with my Master's in Theology this past June. I'm currently working on my Master's Thesis and let me tell you something: God has been breaking down lies in my life this year. For years, I thought I would never be smart enough to go to Bible School, let alone get my Master's Degree. That lie was broken. For my 31st birthday-yes, I'm 31- this year I ran a 5k obstacle course mud run with a group of ladies from my church. I had seen a young woman from my church who was healed of cerebral palsy run a 5k and thought 'I'm too overweight to do something like that'. I took a chance and let me tell you something; God moved in the most amazing way. There were some obstacles I had to

Advice on Issues at Work Please
I need some advice.
I’ve been working at this daycare center for almost 3 months now and I LOVE it there. I work with the age group that I adore, and the kids are truly amazing. My co-workers are really nice(Except for one that seems to have issue with me but she’s on maternity leave for like 3 months.) and I get along well with them.
Recently though they hired a new Lead Teacher for the Pre-K room I’m in. I know I’m just an assistant but I have experience with these kids, I have my Associates in Early Childhood Education and I have been working with kids since my sophomore year in high school. The issues is that this

Why must idiots act so racist? It's no wonder other countries hate us.
