I mean it. If touching so many people's lives and giving them a reason to get up when they feel like they can't even draw a breath into their lungs is wrong then I don't want to be right. My church does not preach hate. Nope. My church preaches love. And to love someone doesn't mean you agree 100% with their actions.
My church is against homosexuality. My church is against pre-marital sex. My church is against drugs-pot included, excessive drinking, and living a life away from Christ. Does that make us hateful? If you think so fine. I really don't care.
My church had a smaller program join us about a year and a half ago and it was a small drug/alcohol rehab program. It has grown from 30 people to 300 PLUS on Saturday nights-every Saturday night. And it's still growing. We've seen people turn their lives around for the best and seen blind eyes opened, lame walk, and stone hearts broken open and healed!
If you were to walk into the church you would be greeted with a smile and a pastor that is simply amazing. He speaks his mind, speaks the bible, lives the bible, and is transparent about himself AND his past(And he says time and time again he was the farthest thing from a Christian. He says if there were 10 people lined up and someone was asked to number them from 1-10 on who would be a pastor(1 being the most likely), he would be number 11.).
Lives are changed everyday in this church and I couldn't be happier to be a part of such an amazing place!
If my church is wrong, I don't want to be right.
I saw this quote and felt it fits this: "if God isn't real I wasted my life; if he is you wasted your eternity."

If one is the most likely to be chosen as a pastor, and he's 11, then doesn't that mean that he's even worse than the worst? If 10 were the most likely, then him being an 11 would make more sense. xD
